No Smoking. No pets. 50% required to confirm
reservation. Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. There is a
security deposit and a cancellation fee. The rates do not include
country departure taxes. Passports will be required to return to the
USA.
Villa de Palmas is located between two airports. Governors Harbour Airport (GHB), Bahamas is 18 miles to the north and Rock Sound Airport, Bahamas is 18 miles to the south. Several airlines fly from Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA on-stop to GHB. There are also flights from Nassau, Bahamas to GHB and Rock Sound Airport. Check Airlines.
You may either rent a car or use a taxi from the airport to the villa. Rates are usually $60/day for car rental and taxi $50 one way to villa/airport and are subject to change. There are no scooters/motorcycles for rent.
Passports are required to enter the Bahamas. Fruits and vegetables are prohibited. Departure tax is $15. Check with your airline for any other information.
The villa offers all amenities including, telephone, and internet as well as Sat TV, VHS, CD/DVD, IPod/IPhone/ITouch Bose Cradle, books and movies. Pre-paid phone cards are available. Check your provider for cell phone usage.
